MAISON MARGIELA CAFE
MALL OF THE EMIRATES
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are honored to have secured a deal with our partners from Chalhoub Group and OTB, the brand that owns Maison Margiela worldwide, to own & operate the first Maison Margiela Cafe in the GCC, located in the fashion district of Mall of the Emirates.
Alongside our partners from Late Group, who are providing some of the best dessert and coffee products in the region, we are managing this venture in one of the most commercially driven assets in the world, Mall of the Emirates.
CONCEPT
We started this fantastic project by engineering the menu offering along our partners from Late Group and designing within our team the whole tableware, uniforms and packaging ranges.
By coordinating with our partners and the brand, we have managed to create a truly unique offering, that is currently reflected within the positive experiences that our guests have when visiting our venue.
Our patisserie products merge Middle Eastern flavors with brand-driven design and palatable ingredients of superior quality which results in innovative crafted desserts, pastries and beverages, served in a styled and one of a kind way.
F&B Menu Development
We serve specialty grade, Brazilian beans coffee for an ultimate coffee drinking experience. Our mocktails have been curated by our team to match the brand ethos and offer an avant garde approach on non-alcoholic beverage options.
However the star of the show is represented by our pastry and bakery creations, done proudly by our esteemed partners at the Late Group. Creations include Bianchetto Tiramisu; 50/50 - half creme brulee and half cheesecake; Creme Duvet - a reinterpretation of banana pudding and Tabi Cake, where pistachio and cardamom synergize, to name a few.
Customization Development
In an effort to create a customized and memorable experience we have undertaken the task of developing the branding collaterals that would be in demand for our venture, including take away coffee cups, bags, holders, stickers, coasters and more.
The uniforms design has been developed in coordination with the brand and maintains the creed that "we are all built equal".
In terms of tableware, the crockery has been developed with AR Ceramics from Oman, a boutique studio delivering hand made custom creations.
Launch & Management
AP&Co. has successfully launched the Cafe with emphasys on hiring a qualified team and offering our head office team's support along the way.
This has been reflected in generating minimal negative reviews and ensuring a consistently positive experience for our patrons.
